At VisionTec CL Ltd he developed a patented manufacturing process to produce low cost high quality lenses.

Roderick Bowers CSO, has created significant shareholder value in a variety of executive positions. He was responsible for founding the Eyecare Division at Biocompatibles and led the development and commercialisation of Proclear . As President of Science at Biocompatibles Eyecare he played a key role in securing investment for the business and in managing the transition from start-up to a UK listed FTSE 250 company. The interest of USA corporation Coopervision Inc ultimately saw Biocompatibles acquired for £68mn. He has numerous patents in the field of medical devices.

Abdul Rashid CTO, provides unique practical hydrogel chemistry know-how to the company. He has numerous patents and has invented several drug delivery systems. He has particular experience in the polymer synthesis of PEG based materials. His current role sees him take responsibility for improving processes and product development.

Caroline Stretton COO, has 15 years experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries where she has been responsible for the launch of multiple products and their regulatory approval in both European and American markets. Caroline provides Ocutec with financial, operational, regulatory and quality management expertise.
